Goldex Live Dealers: Two Studios That Supply Most of the Live Market

Live Casino at a Glance

The live casino at Goldex is powered by Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live, two studios that between them supply the majority of the global live dealer market. Both stream in high definition from purpose-built studios, with round-the-clock tables ensuring Australian players can join a game at any hour. Open your account through the Login page. This page is for players aged 18 and over.

Baccarat and Roulette

Multiple baccarat variants cover standard punto banco through to speed formats, with betting limits ranging from a few dollars per hand to high-roller amounts suited to serious sessions. European, French and speed roulette tables run 24 hours a day from Evolution Gaming, while Pragmatic Play Live adds its own live roulette variants including ones with multiplier side bets.

Blackjack

Dozens of blackjack tables operate at once, across a range of limits. The number of tables means a seat is almost always open, so you can pick a limit that fits and avoid raising it for the sake of availability.

Pick the stake from your budget before you sit down, keep it the same through the session, and finish at the time you set. A table that is open all day gives you no reason to stay longer than planned.

Wagering and Welcome Offer

The code GOLDEX1 is explained on the Promo Code page. Live tables usually count for less towards wagering than pokies, and the shares are in the Bonus terms. 18+ only.

How a Live Round Works

At a live table the game does not wait for you. Betting windows last a set number of seconds, and once the dealer closes the layout nothing more can be placed. Work out your usual stake before you sit down, so you are not making a decision under the clock, and so a rushed click does not end up as a bet you did not plan.

Choosing a Table and Stake

Start at the lowest table that suits your balance. Once you are comfortable with the speed and the layout, you can step up, but do not move to a higher table just to recover a loss. A table is a place to spend a planned amount, and a higher limit only raises how fast that amount can go.

Stream Quality and Connection

A stable connection matters more than a fast one. A wired connection or a strong wifi signal keeps the stream smooth, and a dropped stream can leave you unsure whether a bet was accepted. If the video freezes, wait for the table to reload before you bet again, and check your balance and bet history to see what was placed.

Pace and Bankroll at Live Tables

If you win, set aside part of it straight away. Decide in advance that, say, half of a win leaves the playing balance, and stick to it. Money that stays in the account tends to go back to the table, and the one way to keep a win is to move it out.

Table Chat and Etiquette

Language filters and slow-mode settings may apply to table chat. If a message does not appear, it may have been held by the filter. Short, polite messages are the safest. Avoid links and promotions, which are blocked on most tables and can lead to a mute.

Reading the Table Rules

Look at how the table handles disconnections. Most live games keep the round going and settle your bets as placed, so a dropped connection does not cancel a bet. Knowing that in advance removes panic if your stream freezes, and tells you to check the bet history rather than click again.

Common Live Table Mistakes

Many players skip the rules panel and then misjudge a side bet or a payout. Each table lists its own payouts, and they can differ even within the same game family. A minute reading the table info before the first bet prevents most of the surprises that cost money later.

Responsible Gambling

Gambling is entertainment, not income. So set a budget and time frame up front, use the limits in your account and never play on credit. Free help is available from Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858. The advantage of the house cannot be strategised away.
